BOSTON, November 12, 2008 -- FullArmor, a leader in enterprise policy management, today announced that PolicyPortal now supports Microsoft Windows Small Business Server (SBS) and Essential Business Server (EBS) to help small-medium companies reduce the cost and complexity of managing Windows endpoint machines and servers.

To enable organizations to continuously maintain secure configurations on Windows endpoints inside and outside Active Directory, PolicyPortal works with Microsoft EBS and SBS through a cloud-based service or an on-premise server. Using PolicyPortal, IT administrators can create, deploy and automatically enforce security policies without human intervention on any target machine with an Internet or Intranet connection. In addition, the PolicyPortal dashboard provides a global view of all managed machines for centralized management, auditing, and reporting on endpoint security policies.

“For small-medium businesses with limited IT resources, automation is king. By taking advantage of the latest Microsoft server technologies PolicyPortal provides a low maintenance and scalable solution for securing endpoint machines,” said Danny Kim, CTO of FullArmor.  “With support for Windows Essential Business Server and Small Business Server, PolicyPortal combines the ability and flexibility to manage endpoint configurations on machines inside and outside the network with an on-premise server or a cloud-based service.”

“Microsoft is pleased that FullArmor is offering PolicyPortal to small and midsize customers,” said Russ Madlener, director, Windows Server Group, Microsoft Corp. “PolicyPortal’s integration with EBS and support for SBS is a good addition to the security technology available for partners and customers to choose from.”
